About the Artist

Ever since she received her first easel on her 6th birthday, Ruth Magnusson has loved making art. Ruth has a degree in studio art and art history and taught drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and art history before starting a family. She works in a range of mediums and is inspired by travel, living at the beach, and the Southern California landscape.
